I'm offering the fourth studio album by Harry Chapin titled "Verities & Balderdash", released November 1974 by Elektra Records. 33rpm 12" LP. This a test pressing record. In stereo. In its original all white jacket and plastic sleeve. Same songs as those on the album, just more unique than a store-bought. Includes an original sheet listing the song titles and credits. I've owned this since it came out and have never played it. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Sometimes duplicates. It's in mint condition. Jacket and sleeve are in very good condition. Combine auctions and save on shipping. "Cat's in the Cradle" was Chapin's highest charting single off this album, finishing at #44 for the year on the 1974 Billboard year-end Hot 100 chart. The follow-up single, "I Wanna Learn a Love Song," barely entered the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. A third single, "What Made America Famous?", failed to chart. The album was certified gold on December 17, 1974.
