Description

HARRY PARTCH "THE BEWITCHED" Gate 5 Issue E. C. 1962 Avant Guard Percussion

Here is The Bewitched (excerpted) A Dance Satire by Harry Partch on Gate 5 records Issue E.  33 1/3, 12" vinyl LP.  Composed in 1955.  I believe recorded in 1956. No cover or papers. Not a common LP.

What an incredible modern composer and this record is very listenable.  Percussion with some human voices.  I think he worked with John Cage at some point.

Condition:
Vinyl:  Visually in EXCELLENT condition.  A beautiful copy.  Labels are EXCELLENT too, with no spindle marks!  A great replacement if you have a copy of this already,  Silent and gorgeous.
