This record is in very good condition. It has spindle marks visible on the labels but scuffs or fading. There is pen marks on both sides over part of the text although this may have been done by the manufacturer? There is mild wear around the centre holes on both sides but these are not overly loose and overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything serious or deep with no nasty marks or scratches. There is however light surface lines and sleeve scuffs on both sides visible in normal light. These and some more incredibly light wispy lines are clearly visible under very bright white light but again nothing sinister So overall a used vintage record free from anything serious, that has a nice shine but has light surface lines/scuffs and signs of use.
I play tested the record and it plays very well. It lays flat and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent with no issues with interference or other problems. There are no skips, sticks or disruptive clicks and no issues with surface noise. Saying this however there is some light surface noise in the run in and between tracks but minimal amounts during play.There is nothing drastic anywhere however and nothing at a level to be disruptive to the audio. Overall despite the signs of use on the record it still produces audio of good quality that I thoroughly enjoyed during the play test.
The sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has just a small amount of rubbing/wear to the edges and corners(pics), and they are all strong with no splits and the text on the spine is all clearly legible. There are no tears or pen marks anywhere and only a minor amount of small creasing. There is however the odd minor indentation here and there, mild ring marks and most noticeably some marks on the front and rear. These are not really serious but can be seen in 3 or 4 places on both sides. I have tried to photo them to give an understanding of what they are so please take a look at these. Overall a solid sleeve with no major wear but some slight age related issues and the marks as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original picture inner which is in excellent- condition. It has no tears or pen marks and only faint ring marks and minor creasing. It does have some wear to the edges which is weakening the centres of the edges. There are no full blown splits as yet but they are weakening. As a result I will of course send the record in a plain white replacement to ensure no further wear occurs to the original.
Also included is its large fold out poster which is in excellent condition with no splits, tears or pen marks. It has light minor creasing in places and a small stain on the plain white rear but these are minor issues and overall it is clean and bright.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
