Solitary Man is a typical but unsurprising Hawks single release. Chosen as it has the feel of a return to Silver Machine days of Hawkwind. A very full sound with the ghost of Lemmy on bass. If messrs Brock and company continue to make records like this, they will be around forever...wait a minute the already have been!

Tunnels of darkness is as the song says dark and mysterious, a delve into the subconcious mind of a fight with depression and mind expanding drugs. Without doubt this is the best Hawkwind sound since the good old days of Warrior On The Edge of Time.
