WARRIOR ON THE EDGE OF TIME
Superb first press in stunning COLLECTOR'S condition, take a look at the picture, the vinyl still looks like a mirror and shines brightly.
The all important matrix numbers establishing it's first press status are:
Side 1.PORKY PRIME CUT UAG 29766 A-1U and Side 2.UAG 29766 B-1U.
I have played this through both sides on a Fonz cq30 deck with an SME arm with a new stylus, going through and Audiolab 8000a coming out of new-ish B&W speakers, it sounds absolutely fantastic, warm, spacey, with NO clicks or pops and virtually NO dust crackle-outstanding.
I use the Record Collector grading system and I grade down.
Delicate fold out sleeve is in EX+ condition, there are one or two small, very mild, signs of wear in the odd place on the cover and the spine is CLEAN, STRAIGHT, UNBENT and is otherwise PERFECT.
The inner sleeve is EX+ also, this is unusual as this sleeve, if you can find one, usually has seam splitting as it's made of thin, delicate, paper and the record is fairly heavy. There is the faintest whisper of seam wear on the very bottom but nothing of major concern. In any event I have stored this LP in a separate white paper sleeve so no more damage can occur to the inner sleeve. Oddly the picture looks like the inner has ring wear, it does not, must have been the angle of the sun.
The vinyl is a stunning EX+. I have looked at this, both sides, in direct sunlight (we had some today believe it or not!!) there are a few very surface, very mild sleeve withdrawal marks both sides but that's it, it looks like an LP a quater of it's age.
There are one or two very small, light, spindle marks on the labels indicating it has always been placed carefully on the turntable.
I am also selling a 1st pressing of In Search of Space with the log in the same condition.
I have supersized the pictures so take a close look.
I will mail this out in a purpose built record mailer with cardboard stiffeners, either side of the record, collection is also possible from The New Forest.
There is no reserve and a .99p start price.
