HAWKWIND “Warrior On the Edge Of Time” TOP! 1975 Prog Psych lp LEMMY M-

 

1975/USA/United Artists Records UALA 465…. here’s a gorgeous original pressing of their scarce 5th lp. The die-cut gatefold shield cover is in Excellent condition with light corner dings and a minor light saw cut on the lower spine that does not go through the cover, otherwise the cover is clean and solid with no splits! The vinyl is in M- like new Unplayed condition. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. Includes the M- insert. A beautiful copy here! Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp's. It reached number 13 on the UK album charts and was their third and last album to make the US Billboard chart, where it peaked at number 150. Many of the lyrics are by Michael Moorcock and the album is loosely based on the concept of Moorcock's Eternal Champion. Having recruited a second drummer, Alan Powell, this album's line-up was short-lived. Soon after the album's release, bassist Lemmy was sacked and vocalist Robert Calvert rejoined by the end of the year.

GRADING

MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
