Description
Hawkwind and The Pink Fairies are both featured on the Glastonbury Fayre triple album. The original release of 1972 was released by Revelation Records. Other bands and artists also featured are The Greatful Dead, Mighty Baby, Marc Bolan, Pete Townshend, David Bowie and The Edgar Broughton Band. A facsimile by Arkarma of original release by Revelation with all the parts is dutifully reproduced (see pics). The booklet is signed by Twink on the page where he is photographed next to Robert 'Bob' Calvert when they were performing with The Pink Fairies Marching Band at the fayre. John 'Twink' Alder was the founding member of The Pink Fairies. He was an unofficial member of Hawkwind in the early daze standing in for Terry Ollis when he was unavailable. Also alongside Nik Turner he was a founding member of PinkWind. This is an excellent copy of great live performances from the classic Pink Fairies line up. The record will be sent Royal Mail 1st Class to be signed for. The record will be sent Royal Mail 1st Class to be signed for.
