GOOD        Lots of marks but not too much noise
   Please note the changes in my listings...  

I am going to try something much different than what I have been doing in my listings in that previously I typed the very best description of the record that I could including the state of the label as well as the vinyl. Some records were play graded and I gave my opinion as to the results but since all of the things mentioned take a good bit of time and do not include the picture taking , uploading etc........ from now on, I am going to endeavor to take high quality pictures of the entire record so that the prospective buyer can judge for themselves the state of the labels and I will use VISUAL grading to try to convey the state of the vinyl. To that end, I will be using the following to grade my offerings:

Mint-   Highest grade...might be a totally unplayed record in near perfect condition OR a record that  
has been played but it is great condition with nothing appearing that would detract from the sound quality. It might have very superficial sleeving scuffs, angel hair lines etc. present.
VG+       This grade will be for records that have marks, a few or a lot, but they are light and should cause no more than light surface noise or hiss if any at all. Should not distract from the music playing on top too much.
VG             Perhaps the most problematic grade in that the record can have "significant noise" as the Goldmine standard states OR it might have little to very little noise but has lots and lots of marks. More than likely, a VG will have some sort of noise on the record.
VG-         There is a strong possibility that noise is going to occur with this grade.

G/G+        Used only on very hard to find records that might be used as a filler.
