Description
Beautiful (Soft Machine) - Shadows In The Sun/Walter's Dream (Cyclops CS-71) VG++ one scratch on B-side nap xol Elusive US pressing of 1967 ALTERNATE MIX (much louder lead vocal and other noticeable mix differences) of Soft Machine's "Feelin' Reelin' Squeelin'" produced by the omnipresent Kim Fowley & this version still remains non-comp b/w freaky sitar instrumental on Rubble #20 LP & Box/Kim Fowley-Underground Animal LP & CD. Note: Although the A-side lists the song as being 2:35 on the label, it's actually 2:48 and"Feelin'" clocks in ca 2:52 with a slightly longer fade. I included sound samples below of BOTH "Shadows" and "Feelin'" (taken from my 1967 Soft Machine 45 on UK Polydor 56151 -- which is NOT for sale) so you can compare the two versions. Most collectors don't even know that this unique vintage US pressing even exists!
Be sure to check out my other '60s garage/psych 45s currently up on eBay.
NOTE: I will be updating the BAD VIBRATIONS set sale rare record list on Tuesday, November 29 at 9 AM Eastern Standard Time. Ebay DOES NOT permit listing websites here anymore but you can find it if you google the Arf Arf Records website. There will be over 1000 new listings of rare '60s garage/psych discs (mostly 45s) so don't miss out. First come ... first served!
