Description
Messengers & Good News-Born Again (House Records VV-6285) M- with 2-sided 9 1/2 x 11 1/4" printed insert with all of the lyrics Unknown and non-reissued 1971 Brattleboro, Vermont Christian indy psych artifact in cherry condition! One side features 6 songs by the Messengers, all of which are worthy and to my ears have an early Neil Young vibe. The other side includes 7 songs by the Good Times which are folksy. Cool thing is that the album contains ALL ORIGINAL SONGS so no cover duds or remakes of touchy-feely religiously-correct stuff like "Michael Row The Boat Ashore" etc. Check out the 3 sound samples below, especially the haunting & tripped-out "The Right Way" (that has a cool derivative "For What It's Worth" intro). Low starting bid so bid accordingly.
