Description
Jascha Heifetz's best recording of this gorgeous concerto, magnificently accompanied by Fritz Reiner and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The sonics on this tape, of a recording made in "old" Orchestra Hall, are unbeliveably beautiful and, in my opinion, better than any subsequent re-issue. Box is like-new except for a 2 inch split on the bottom of the back cover and the tape, which is stored TAILS OUT on the reel, plays beautifully on my Revox B-77 deck. A first class copy of this rarity. Packing, USPS FIRST CLASS shipping and insurance are a flat $5 to domestic U.S. destinations. Priority mailing on request.
