Description
HELEN MORGAN/BRUNSWICK 122/SUPER COPY OF THIS 78
To speed up the listing process I'm not listing any of the titles or catalogue numbers, please see the label scans below for these.
Continuing on folks with listing this large collection of MINT 78's, this one does look to have been handled, but it is in superb condition and almost like new , SUPER COPY. Labels are as new.
Please be aware that I shall be away on holiday until the last few days of the auction, any questions will be answered when I return.
Continuing on listing this collection approximately 900 78's from the 1920's that were discovered in the basement of what used to be a record shop which closed down in the late 1920's. They were discovered in the late 1970's during renovations to the building and have been in storage in the discoverers house until the present day. Most of them look to be in amazing condition and as if they were pressed yesterday, most look Mint and have certainly never had a Steel Needle touch them, they could very well be the best surviving copies, it would certainly be impossible to find better. I've played a few with a modern lightweight 78rpm stylus and the sound quality and quietness of the records is quite astounding and has to be heard to be believed. It certainly is an enormous difference to 78's that have even had only the lightest play with a Steel Needle, amazingly quiet for a 78 from this period.
Postage discounts for multiple purchases, just £1.99 for the second 78 for UK Buyers then 99p per extra 78 for UK buyers thereafter. Discounts for European buyers are £1.25 per extra 78 up to a maximum of 6 in one parcel, any extra 78's will have to be shipped in a seperate package and the standard charge for the 1st one will apply. Worldwide buyers pay just an extra £2.25 up to a maximum of 6 in one parcel and the same conditions apply as for European buyers.
UK & International Buyers making large purchases of 78's, UK Buyers 10 or more, International Buyers 25 or more, can have them shipped cheaper than the prices quoted. For example I can ship approximately 70 78's to the US & Canada for only £70, approximately $133 USD. Please ask for a quotation.
I have a lot of experience in packing records, you have no need to be concerned about poorly packed records. Shellac 78's are packed securely in sturdy boxes with suitable buffering material around them. Vinyl is sent in between thick cardboard for full protection as I consider the so called professional record mailers to be a sub standard way to ship them.
