Description
Hello there, and thankyoufor viewing my item!
Having had rather a lengthy hiatus, I'm back to sell more of my collection/ 2nd copies/ records I think might be of interest to others. In previous years I've sold very rare PROG, 60s, PUNK etc, ranging from cheap record right up to £1000 records, and have invariably got good feedback. However, having been away from selling for so long I realise I need to build up current positive feedback again, hence I'm listing many items at buy it now prices, please check out my current, and coming here at my other items! Or to get the heads up on my listings before others even add me to your favourites list!
THIS IS A RELIST, I SOLD THIS ITEM FOR SIGNIFICANTLY MORE MONEY THAN I AM NOW ASKING, HOWEVER I SENT IT BY HERMES POSTAL SERVICE (PACKAGED IN A FACTORY MADE CRUCIFORM MAILER AND THREE STIFFENERS- AND PAID FOR EXTRA INSURANCE COVERAGE) THEY BASHED THE CORNER, SO UNDERSTANDABLY THE BUYER REQUESTED A RETURN, WHICH I WILLINGLY ACCEPTED, HOWEVER WHEN I CAME TO MAKE A CLAIM WITH HERMES TO GET MY MONEY BACK THEY REFUSED. THEY CITED THAT THE FACTORY MADE CRUCIFORM BOX, AND THREE STIFFENERS WASN'T ADEQUATE PACKAGING (THIS AS ANYONE IN THE RECORD BUYING/SELLING WORLD WILL KNOW IS WELL ABOVE "INDUSTRY STANDARD"). THEREFORE I INCLUDE THIS INFORMATION, FIRST TO EXPLAIN THE RELIST AND REPHOTOGRAPHING OF THIS RECORD, AND SECONDLY TO WARN OFF RECORD BUYERS AND SELLERS FROM USING HERMES, THEY ARE CHEAP, BUT THE ARE... WELL... CHEAP!
Here we have a great copy of the ALTERNATIVE ROCK group HELMET'S 1994 album BETTY. This record has been incredibly well looked after, the sleeve is still in its original shinkwrap, opened at one side. Still has original price code sticker on rear of shrinkwrap too. Sadly though the corner of both the inner and outer sleeve have sustained a bump causing light, but noticable creasing in this localised area (please see the photos where I have highighted this!) The record remains a thing of beauty!
LABELS: EX+ a very few light spindle trails visible when angled into strong halogen light.
VINYL: EX a few light withdrawl surface marks, sounds great.
SLEEVE: VG+ the fact it's still in its shrinkwrap is obviously an indication of the care shown to this record over the years, the only detractions at all is very light wear on the opening mouth edges, and the relative opening mouth corners, please inspect photos.Really very minor indeed! Perfect spine and top and bottom edges. Though asmentioned before thereis a slight bump on the bottom right hand corner (please see photos)
INNER SLEEVE: VG+ superb, apart from the afore mentioned bump causing some localised creasing (again, I've done my very best to highlight this in the photos and make it look as servere as I can so as no one is disappointed)!
