Description

HENDRIX- BAND OF GYPSYS LP (1968, Capitol STAO-472) First pressing, Capitol lime green labels. Actual full Matrix below. "Produced by Heaven Research" etc... credited on back cover. Gatefold sleeve.

  • Matrix / Runout: (A-Side Runout, Hand-etched): STAO1-472 A Z4 2? STERLING (Stamped)

Vinyl is EX+, nice, original gloss with a few very light scuffs and hairlines. Bright, lime green labels with no wear. This was rarely played.
Cover is EX+, stiff to open gatefold, like-new. Strong spine with a little rounding near top. Very light wear on edges, no splits. Sharp corners. Minor ring in spots. An excellent copy.

This is from a large period collection I just acquired (Hendrix, Beatles, Dylan, lots of Psych records etc.. ). Most are in VG+ to Near Mint condition. If you're interested check the 'records' category in my store and sort by 'newly listed' to see the rest of this collection.

LP's are checked/graded under a 600W photo light.

I grade Vinyl and Covers M (new, sealed), NM, EX, VG+, VG, VG-, G.
