Description

First a little history on this album. In 2002 the finnish band HIM were signed to Jimmy Pop's Jimmy Franks Recording Company with the help of pro skater Bam Margera. This would be their first official venture into the US music market. Only problem was that, at the time, there was another band from Chicago with the name HiM. Due to this, they were not allowed to release anything in the US under the name HIM and changed their name to HER for US releases. A handful of promos, stickers and albums were created with the name HER on them until someone at Universal Records decided to pick the band up on a larger label. At this time, they were able to afford to buy the rights to use the name HIM in the US and the sale of anything labelled with HER was stopped.

Up for auction is the first US release of their 2000 album Razorblade Romance. This is the 2002 HER version of the album and is very rare. It is on this version of the album, and only this version, that you can find all 15 tracks recorded for Razorblade Romance. This copy is in near mint condition with only very minor signs of wear.
