HERBIE HANCOCK: "INVENTIONS AND DIMENSIONS" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, BLP 4147.  Original '64 USA MONO vinyl 1st pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on both labels.  "EAR" etched & VAN GELDER stamped in the trail-off on both sides.  Heavy vinyl, thick cardboard cover.  Liner notes on back of jacket written by Nat Hentoff.  The personnel:  Herbie Hancock/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; Willie Bobo/drums & timbales; Osvaldo "Chihuahau" Martinez/conga & bongo.  The vinyl is in VG+ condition (beautiful high sheen, some light sleeve scuffs & thin marks).  The thick cover is in VG++ to VG+ shape, bright & clean, displays nicely.  Some of top seam taped very discreetly.  No writing, no cut-out markings, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.  The songs are:  Succotash; Triangle; Jack Rabbit; Mimosa; A Jump Ahead.
