Description

HERBIE NICHOLS TRIO:  BLUE NOTE Records HI-FI BLP-1519  (Mfd in NYC in the 50's)   TRAX Are:  SIDE ONE:  THE GIG, HOUSE PARTY STARTING, CHIT-CHATTING, THE LADY SINGS THE BLUES, TERPSICHORE  -  SIDE TWO:   SPINNING SONG, QUERY, WILDFLOWER, HANGOVER TRIANGLE, and MINE.  Featuring:  HERBIE NICHOLS, AL McKIBBON, TEDDY KOTICK, and MAX ROACH.   The cover is in VG+ condition with some light shelfwear, mostly along the bottom edge and spine bottom third.  No bends, no ringwear, no holes, no yellowing or age spots;  the back cover has some light yellowing due to age.  The label is clean and new on both sides.  The Deadwax Zone has etched on it BN-LP-1519-A, with RVG, a sideways M 9, and the famous Earmark.  The B side has BN-LP-1519-B, with RVG, a sideways M9, and what looks like half an Earmark.  The vinyl record looks VG++ with only some light scuffs.  There is a 1/2" mark across HOUSE PARTY that you can hear;  as much as I hate to use that word, it is a scratch.  It causes some clicks across that track, and I put this song second in these Audio Clips so you can hear it.  The other songs on SIDE ONE plays VG+/VG++;  the tracks on SIDE TWO play VG++ and Better.  It's a good Listening copy.  I've posted some audio clips from both sides of another copy of this record at:     www.gate.net/~rhanes/herbnicholslp.ra    -   If you click onto this hyperlink, you can download them as REAL AUDIO FILES and listen for yourself.   I can ship this anywhere in the USA Media Rate for $4.00.  Insurance is optional;  Insurance is offered to Non-US Buyers as REGISTERED MAIL.  I won't be responsible for uninsured packages that are lost by the Post Office.  If this sells to to a non-USA Bidder for $10-$120, it will have to be sent First Class International ($13.50) plus Registered Mail ($11.50).  If sells to a non-US Bidder for $120-$500, it will have to ship Air Priority for $28 plus Insurance ($2-$5).  If it sells to a non-US Bidder for over $500, it will have to ship GLOBAL EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL for $33.00 + Insurance, which will run around $6-$10.   If NOT using PAYPAL, it can ship for less.  If using PAYPAL, It will have to be fully Insured for the amount sold, with the value declared on the Customs form.  I know this is a lot of trouble to go through, but the Post Office makes it very difficult to send out Insured packages.  Postage rates to Japan are considerably MUCH LESS.   I can email you Overseas Postage.   I can take PAYPAL.  No reserve on this.  Good luck!
