HIGH TIDE

SEA SHANTIES

LIBERTY STEREO LP 1969

LBS 83264

MATRIX: A#1/B#1 FIRST PRESSING

Band: Tony Hill; Guitar

Simon House: Violin

Peter Pauli: Bass

Roger Hadden: Drums

Track Listing: Side1: Futilist's Lament; Death Warmed Up; Pushed But Not Forgotten;   Side 2: Walking Down Their Outlook; Missing Out; Nowhere.

Record Condition: VG++ There are hairline marks on both sides and a degree of scuffing but no deeper marks and no scratches or jumps. Just some crackle on the run-ins and between the odd track.  The record plays really well and sounds fine (for you heavy rocksters). The label shows some signs of spindle wear under the light.

The sleeve is in VG+ condition but showing some yellowing and darker stain marks at the upper front and rear and a tear in the LH front upper where a previous price tag has been removed. No splits and the inside of the gatefold sleeve is excellent. The grotesque front cover would look good on your wall!

The polylined inner is original but has been reinforced slightly at the bottom and sides with some sellotape and has Virgin * Records 24 Oxford St stamped on the front RH upper
