Description

Please Read Full Listing Before Purchase - Thanks.

On offer is The Lp - Sea Shanties by High Tide.

1969 Stereo Pressing on the Liberty Records Label - LBS 83264 - Matrix - A1/B1.

Track 1 on side 1 has the t missing from lament on the record label but is spelt correctly on the sleeve.

Side 1: Futilist's Lament, Death Warmed Up, Pushed But Not Forgotten.

Side 2: Walking Down Their Outlook, Missing Out, Nowhere.

Vinyl -  Visual - Vg+/Ex- - The record looks in excellent condition with only a few small scratches and a couple of light hairlines, Side 1 has a few small scratches and scuffs on the edge at the start of track 1, also there's a light hairline across track 1, Side 2 has a light hairline  across the 2nd half of the side. Playback - Ex - The record plays excellent throughout, the only small blemish heard is a couple of small clicks and tics near the start of track 1 on side 1, nothing obvious further was heard and it's a great listen - no skips or Jumps etc.

Some small static tics and/or small static crackle is a normal feature of most Vinyl Pressings.

Sleeve - Vg  - Provided in the original gate-fold sleeve as pictured, it has some age related wear, it has some dis-colouration due to age, on the front cover a sticker covers a previous sticker tear in the top corner at the opening edge, there is another small tear on the front cover at the bottom corner at the opening edge, I have tried to show these in the pictures, nothing too major considering it's age - see pics, the sleeve is un-laminated and is Printed By MacNeil Press Ltd, London.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Please note: A mid range Technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Playback Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.

Record Collector's Grading System.

  1. Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

  2. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

  3. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

  4. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...

  5. Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

  6. Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

  7. Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
