Hip Hop Culture – S/T – Perfection Records – Ultra Rare North Carolina Random Rap LP – Listen! – No Reserve

Impossibly rare and seldom seen full length indie rap LP from the group Hip Hop Culture from the Raleigh-Durham area in North Carolina. This was released in very limited quantities on Perfection Records in 1990 and issued without a jacket. Not sure what the pressing run was but I would guess 300 or less. I found a test pressing issue on Disc Makers which sold for over $700 three years ago. This is the only copy of the LP I’ve encountered since. Excellent sample-based hip hop from ‘89/’90. The group broke up shortly after this release and unfortunately the album went nowhere.
