Description

Although it was the red orange label pressing that came with the poster, these purple label copies are in slightly better condition than the red ones,( that I do have too) with less spindle marks, and still come off the original first stampers regardless. As did the sunrise label.  The covers corners have dings although the spine is strong and so overall I guess I would otherwise rate the cover as excellent, but for the corner dings ! The poster has light wrinkling in small areas, and a fair degree of foxing on the back only. Otherwise the illustrations colors look great and there certainly aren’t any pinholes. Overall I would like to give it a vg+, because of the light wrinkles, but maybe in between vg(+) and vg+. Conservatively. (I’ve done a lot of poster mounting and I would say this would still look great even done at home, that a good job may well, should, even reduce the wrinklage, or at least further reduce their being noticeable, but a pro dry mount job - would  -completely remove any hint of wrinkling.  I did my best to picture each fault so there would be no surprises.
