Furtwangler - Beethoven Choral Symphony

Please note:
ALP 1286 is an original English Red Gold pressing
ALP 1287 is an original Red Silver Dutch pressing

I've played this set entirely with a Denon mono cartridge. Below you'll find my best possible grading

ALP 1286:
Cover: VG++; one little spot of laminate tear off, strong, unspoiled seams
Vinyl:
Side 1 and 2- VG++; beautifull sound, clear, clean, crisp. Very few occasional pops. No surface noise at all
ALP 1287:
Cover: VG++; only 2 spots of starting laminate peel off by opening cover, strong, unspoiled seams
Vinyl:
Side 3 - VG+; some scuffs - hardly sounding. Bit noisy start. Some general pops and crackle. Light to moderate surface/tape? noise, mostly notable in softer parts. Sound though is firm, non distorted and clean.
Side 4 - VG+(+); no scuffs but the same background noice as side 3.
