Description:

HMV ALP1548-49 - Originl Red / Dog in Semi-Circle Labels (See Scan) - Original Flipback Sleeves - No Stereo Issue - Bach - Goldberg Variations - Rosalyn Tureck (Piano) - The Reference Recording - A Rare & Classic HMV set!

Condition:

Records are in the following Conditions:

Disc 1 is in EX Condition - A few very light, hardly noticable, non-sounding surface scuffs on the disc - some very slight background surface noise at the start of the sides, common in these early HMV Mono records - 12 ticks 1/3 into Side 1 - a further 8 light ticks midway through Side 1 - a majority of the disc plays Near Mint

Disc 2 is in EX Condition - One or two very light, hardly visible paper scuffs on the disc surface - there is a non-sounding mark on Side 2 - some very slight background surface noise at the start of the sides, common in these early HMV Mono records - there is a background 'hissing' noise for 30 seconds 2/3 into Side 1 (I have heard this fault on a number of copies) - a majority of the disc plays Near Mint

Jacket 1 is in EX Condition - One or two creases along the edges - there are a few scuff marks on the bottom right edge - otherwise clean

Jacket 2 is in EX+ Condition - See scan

Overall a superb copy!
