HMV ASD 267 white/gold – BEETHOVEN SYMPHONY No.5 – CLUYTENS / BERLIN P.O.
1958 HMV stereo recording on white/gold label catalogue number ASD 267. Andre Cluytens conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in Beethoven’s Symphony No.5 and Leonore Overture No.3
Disc has occasional very light marks. Side 1 has occasional very light ticks; Side 2 has a few random light ticks and about 1 minute of faint background noise on track 1 (2nd movement of symphony). None of these minor defects is enough to spoil the listening enjoyment. Sleeve is badly scuffed/creased at corners with tiny splits.
