On offer is The Lp - Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D and Mendelssohn Violin Concerto In Eminor - Christian Ferras With the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Constantin Silvestri.
1958 Gold / Cream Label Stereophonic Pressing on the Hmv Records Label - ASD 278.
Vinyl - Vg+ - There are some small surface hairlines and scuffs/marks visible, it plays with some light ticks/clicks in places although nothing major and only noticeable in quieter play areas, other than this the record looks as though it has been little played and the surface still has a lovely sheen.
It plays with a lovely Deep Rich Stereo sound and Plays Very Good throughout with only occasional light static ticks / clicks heard in places, I find this is common on pressings of this age even where the playing surfaces are still in as good a condition as this one, and it detracts very little from the excellent sound and enjoyment of the record, nothing major - no skips, jumps etc.
The vinyl may benefit from a professional clean due to it's age.
Sleeve - Vg - Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured which has some age related wear, The laminate on the front of the sleeve has started peeling - see pics.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch, Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Please note: A mid range technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.
