Description

This is another sale from a my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.


UK pressing (Recording First Published 1959) HMV ASD 299, Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf and Saint-Saens Carnival of the Animals, performed by The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Efrem Kurtz. 1st White Gold Labels and 1st type gold stereophonic Sticker.


Grading

Visually grade vinyl as Excellent, there are some light marks and faint hairline scratches on side 1 that show under strong light. Side 2 is near mint. It plays on my Linn Sondek with no skips or jumps however  there are crackles in places. The sleeve is in VG condition, there is a stain on the rear of the sleeve (see photo). 


Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
