HMV ASD 421 EW1 White & Gold Ein Heldenleben Richard Strauss BEECHAM & Royal Philharmonic MEMORIAL EDITION 1961
One of many quality ORIGINAL classical recordings NEARLY ALL UK FIRST PRESSINGS I will be listing over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. Hence most of the vinyl in this collection is unmarked and just like new. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is HMV ASD 421, ORIGINAL white & gold EW1 label, 1961 on rear cover. Original liner sleeve in super condition. The labels are in mint condition. Outer sleeve NEAR MINT with just a later date neatly added to the top on reverse. The vinyl looks near mint with just one or two plays MAXIMUM. You'll not find a better copy.
