Description

Hi, up for sale are some quality reel to reel tapes, all look to be in great condition. These came from the collection of a classical music enthusiast. Included are some very rare early stereo tapes, PLEASE SEE OUR OTHER ITEMS.
Postage is tracked and insured, happy to combine postage for multiple purchases - PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE IF BUYING MORE THAN 1 ITEM, THANKS.
This item is:

  • A STEREOSONIC HMV 7" reel to reel tape, boxed with insert.
  • Mstislav Rostropovich performing Miaskovsky's Cello Concerto with Sargent conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra
  • Incredibly rare tape.
  • There was no stereo vinyl release on ASD or SAX for this recording, only the mono version on ALP.
  • Presumably this was released around 1957 when the ALP record was released.
  • This tape needs rewinding - printed yellow leader is on the inside of the reel.
