Description
This is an exciting opportunity to buy an original, working 'His Master's Voice' (HMV) gramophone in a mahogany cabinet. We believe it to be dated from the 1920s to 1930s.
Obviously, an item of this age has signs of wear but it is in excellent condition and working order.
This gramophone is made to play '78s' and is powered by a wind-up mechanism. It has a speed control and by closing the lid and opening the twin doors at the front of the gramophone you get an extremely good sound with
reduced crackle directly from the record.
There are several needles that come with the gramophone, but it recommended that new needles should be used to avoid damaging your records.
