Telefunken BLE 14 087: Ludwig Hoelscher and Elly Ney play Beethoven's Sonatas Nos 3 and 4, and Seven variations on an Aria by Mozart
Welcome!I recently acquired a huge collection of records mostly in terrific condition which I will be selling on eBay individually and in lots. Check back for more titles! This is an auction for one Record:
Beethoven: Sonaten Für Klavier und Violoncello Nr. 3 A-dur, Op. 69 & Nr. 4 C-dur, Op. 102, 1; Sieben Variationen Es-dur über das Duett "Bei Månnern, welche Liebe fühlen" • Elly Ney, Klavier; Ludwig Hoelscher, Violoncello • Telefunken BLE 14 087 Purple and Gold Label • Disc VG+ (the disc is really EX, except for a section about 5/8" long towards the end of Sonata No. 4--it doesn't overpower the music or distract from the experience (to my ears, at least), but it is definately audible as a quiet but repeated click for about 1/2 the length of the flaw. Other than that there are only a few extremely minor scuffs. Once thoroughly cleaned with a "Nitty Gritty" or similar machine the record should play practically flawlessly, except for the short section mentioned above.) • Jacket VG to VG+ (No splitting along seams, but some significant wear along seams, including several tiny perpedicular tears, and one inch-long tear. Front cover has no ring wear, back cover has some ring wear.) Grading Scale: The grading scale I use is a standard variation of the Goldmine scale. It includes the grade EX, which indicates a NM record with light paper scuffs or other very minor flaws that do not interfere with sound quality. Here is an abbreviated version (for the vinyl only, for cover grades please consult the website above):
NM (Near Mint): This is highest grade I will assign to opened records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked. EX (Excellent):Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked. VG+ (Very Good Plus):Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean. VG (Very Good): Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole. G, F, and P (Good, Fair, and Poor):I do not sell records in these conditions on eBay.
