Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare 1st U.K. pressing of Hokus Poke – Earth Harmony on the SWIRL VERTIGO label, cat. no. 6360 064.
The record is in EX minus condition, there are a couple non-sounding hairlines and there is a very tiny edge warp that does not affect playing. The labels are in EX minus condition as well, there are a couple spindle marks only.
The die-cut cover is in VG condition, there is some moderate ring wear on both front and back, the edges of the spine are bald. There is also a tiny tear in the bottom of the spine, but furter this cover is very presentable. In all my years of collecting, I have never seen the Hokus Poke cover in mint condition; all covers I have seen have ring wear or were in a worse condition than this one.
The original Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve is still present, but suffers from age browning and there is a seam split of approx. 12 centimetres.
This is a mega rare 1st U.K. pressing of the Hokus Poke’s first and only album on the Vertigo Swirl label, which is extremely hard to locate. This record is in my opinion just as rare as the Dr. Z, Linda Hoyle and Gordon Waller albums. Just how often is this album offered for sale? And the condition of the record is just brilliant, a real addition to any Vertigo Swirl collection or to any progressive music fan! Happy Bidding!
