Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?
I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.
I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS.
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

SLEEVE.....GIMIXED and UN-LAMINATED. I have never seen this sleeve without surface rub, this one is very lightly rubbed and although this looks like bad ring wear in the photo's, in truth it is only very light and not through the surface at any point. The front is in EX condition, ther is NO damage to the cut-out, there is NO STICKER TEARS or UNWANTED WRITING, there is a small square of discolouration left by a price sticker after removal, I cant quite tell but it may be adhesive and could be removed with the correct solvent? The rear of the sleeve is also in EX condition. The spine is in great condition, it is fully readable and suffers with light edge wear. There is wear to the tips of the corners.The inner gatefold is in wonderful condition and is graded as EX+. All three closed edges are in EX+ condition This album comes with an ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE IN TOP CONDITION. All in all this is in great condition for a 37year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve.EX
LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, stickers, residue or tears. There are light spindle marks on both sides, this album has obviously always been handled with great care MINT/MINT
This album has the very desirable 111 stampers after the matrix numbers on both sides, please see the photo's below.
VINYL.... THIS ALBUM LOOKS 'JUST OUT OF THE SHOP' BRAND NEW! Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see NO surface hair lines OR ANY OTHER MARKS OR SIGNES OF BEING PLAYED. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are ALMOST NO dust crackles, and a professional clean should sort out that. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . MINT/MINT
