The Holly Twins I Want Elvis For Christmas b/w The Tender Age 7" single on Liberty F-55048 from 1956. The matrix #'s are 45-FB-2148-D1/45-FB-2149-D1. This 45 has a lot going for it... The Tender Age is a cool track that features some nice guitar work including some tasteful whammy bar flourishes during the solo (I'm not sure if it's Eddie Cochran or not)... then comes I Want Elvis For Christmas, and this is noted online to have Eddie Cochran on guitar and backing vocal, and was co-written by Bob (Bobby) Darin of Splish Splash/Mack The Knife fame and Don Kirshner who was an icon of 60's - 70's music and song publishing.

PLEASE NOTE: I have well over 200 45's up for auction this week, which came from an amazing collection of vintage Capitol, Liberty, and some smaller labels that are a mix of commercial and PROMO copies from the mid-1950’s including rock, pop, rockabilly, doo wop and R&B. It appears that this collection came from someone who worked in the industry during the mid-50’s, and with the overall condition of these 45’s, it appears they may have been played a few times and just stored away. There may be some grease pencil markings in the dead wax, which may be quality control notations. With this said, please make sure you check them all out! If you win multiples, I'll combine them into one package to save you $$$ on S/H!!!

The turquoise labeled vinyl on this 45 is in very good - very good plus condition with a few whispy sleeve marks and also the tight double-ticks at the intro of I Want Elvis For Christmas that last for 6 revolutions (please listen to the clip). This is a really RARE & COOL Holly Twins/Rockabilly/Eddie Cochran collectible, make sure you bid today!!!
