HORACE PARLAN “Headin’ South” FIRST PRESSING Blue Note 4062 Mono Vinyl
This is the Laminated Cover, First Pressing, 1960, Mono, "RVG" stamped, P-pressing of HORACE PARLAN “Headin’ South on the "New York” labels of Blue Note BLP 4062.
VINYL plays very well, 90% clean, with extremely light background surface noise and occasional pops or ticks. Many spots dead quiet. Light repeating tick Side 2, #2, first half of track. Ensemble sections are very dynamic, punchy and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Good gloss. Clean surface with a few hairline marks, 3 feelable including two long ones on Side 1 covering a couple songs. The “New York” labels are clean with spindle marks, some wear. See photos.
LAMINATED COVER is in very good shape, corners worn. Laminated solid. 4 red dots covering surface marrs. Spine and seams nearly mint. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23” back jacket is clean, normal aging. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
