This is the 7" 1961, Flat Rim, RVG, 45-RPM, French Laminated FRAME Cover, of HORACE SILVER's "Senor Blues" / "Cool Eyes" 

 single 

on the "43 West 61st, New York 23. N.Y." labels of  Blue Note 45 1655. Musicians include Silver, Donald  Byrd, Hank Mobley, Doug Watkins and Louis Hayes.

This US-pressed Blue Note 7" Flat Rim VINYL 45 plays well, consistent low to medium-level surface noise, well below the music. Instruments are very dynamic, hot, clean, clear, powerful. No distortion. No ticks. No skips. No warps. No groove wear.  Both sides have very good gloss.  Overall, plays beautifully. The "43 West 61st, New York 23. N.Y." labels are excellent with sticker & negligible spindle wear.

   

7" LAMINATED COVER is MINT. Top and bottom seams and spine are practically perfect, no splits.  See photos. Back jacket is in very good condition. See photos.

   
   

This 45 was play-tested on a high-end system consisting of Music Hall MMF-7.3 turntable/Ortofon Bronze cartridge, Heed Audio Elixir integrated amplifier, and Quad S2 speakers (with very revealing ribbon tweeters). Record cleaned on VPI 16.5.
