Description

    Horace Silver Quintet, Vol. 4
Kenny Dorham (tp) Hank Mobley (ts) Horace Silver (p) Doug Watkins (b) Art Blakey (d) Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, November 13, 1954  Original BLUE NOTE TEN INCH Lp pressing, #5058,
Blue & White Label, Double Sided Deep Groove, and with the Lexington Ave address, has the "EAR" ,"9M", & "RVG" in the dead wax, no "INC" no "R" on the label.
FLAT Lip Edge, Made in USA, 1954
The vinyl: shows a few light but superficial scuffs so it looks like VG+, but very little noticeable surface noise, sounds close to near mint, NM-. An amazing sounding pressing!

The cover: the front and back have light ringwear, the back paste-on is also slightly yellowed around the edges. There's light edgewear, heaviest along the bottom, slightly less on the spine, and very lttile along the top, slight wear around the corners, no splits. VG+ (see pictures).
