HORACE SILVER QUINTET “The Jody Grind” FIRST PRESSING Blue Note 4250 Mono Vinyl

This is the First Edition, MONO, “VAN GELDER” stamped pressing of HORACE SILVER QUINTET’s “The Jody Grind” on the “Liberty” labels of Blue Note BLP 4250.  

VINYL plays very well, quiet, with occasional pops or ticks. Ensemble sections are dynamic, punchy and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Good gloss. Clean surface, with a couple non feelable hairline marks. The "Liberty” labels are clean.  See photos.

GATEFOLD COVER is in good shape, some ringwear. Spine and Seams clean with wear, small split on lower seam. Back jacket has ringwear, and visible split on lower back seam. Please see photos.
