Description

HORSES : Horses LP (White Whale [USA] WW 7121) 1970.

Record is Near Mint (our highest grade for an opened record). Cover is excellent with some minimal wear to the edges. DJ labels.

Great original DJ copy of this 1970 westcoast psych LP, probably best known for featuring future actor Don Johnson (Miami Vice etc).

According to this thorough discography (and other sources), White Whale used the earlier blue label with the whale logo on top until WW-7125 (the Footprints In Time compilation) or thereabouts, but we are not aware of any copies of this LP with that label. The same discography gives 1970 as the release year for this LP, despite the fact that a few releases with later catalog numbers were released in '69 (Triste Janero, Clique); that, along with the fact that promos (like this one) have the later label design (concentric circles with whale on side) leads us to believe that the pressing of this LP was delayed and hence it only exists on the later label.
