Description
Hello! This is my HORTON "Dancehall For Midgets" on his own private label (BH 1000) from 1976 and has been described as bluesy hard acid psych rock with CAPTAIN BEEFHEART-like vocals and nice leads. The quite flimsy paper-like jacket has seen better days and is partially split along both ends of the top seam between 3" and 3 1/2" from each end, a surface tear near the bottom where there is also some ringwear (see photo), some small stains, light creases and general overall wear. On the other hand, the vinyl looks great with only a few scattered light hairlines and/or minor sleeve scuffs to be seen, plays at least VG+(+) throughout with very occasional intermittant light pops and a light crackle which I believe is largely due to the homemade quality of the pressing. Not seen offered more than twice on eBay within the past 2 1/2 years! Not the best copy (mainly coverwise) but certainly a tough one to score and it should suffice until (or if) a better copy comes along.
