Description

As the Golden Gate Orchestra, The California Ramblers (incl. Red Nichols and both Dorseys this session) rip red hot versions of "The Flapper Wife" and "Everything Is Hotsy- Totsy Now". Irving Kaufman does the vocal on "Hotsy Totsy". This was recorded on 22. April 1925. It's a visual EE+ that plays like brand new with astounding volume, clarity, and fidelity. In an unusual lapse of quality control at the Edison plant, the "Flapper Wife" label appears on both sides.
