Offered for your consideration is this copy of "Moanin' In The Moonlight" on Chess LP 1434. This is the original 1958 deep groove release on the black and silver label. If you've read this far, you need no introduction to the legend that is Howlin' Wolf.
Side 1: Moanin At Midnight; How Many More Years; Smokestack Lightin'; Baby, How Long; No Place To Go; All Night Boogie
SIDE 2: Evil; I'm Leavin' You; I Asked For Water (She Gave Me Gasoline);Forty-Four; Somebody In My Home
The vinyl is visually graded a VG to VG+, with a couple of very light, short skate marks (nothing scary). The labels are still clear but do show some spindle marks.The cover is graded a VG, but suffers from a 6-7 inch split to the bottom as well a 4 inch split at the top and a little staining on the back. The inner sleeve is generic. I tend to grade on the conserative side. You won't be disappointed.
This is a rare chance to own an original release of a fairly rare classic blues album. Offered at a fair open and NO RESERVE!!
