Description
You're bidding on an original pressing of "Howlin' Wolf" by Howlin' Wolf, as released on Chess Records # 1469 in 1962. This is the rare original black-labeled Chess. The vinyl has a lot of light scratches on both sides, but the gloss is still there and it plays well with no skips, scuffs or warpage. The labels are VG+, and the vinyl would rank as a VG.
The cover is in VG- condition. It has a couple of minor abrasions on the front, and some yellowing on the back (mostly dirty fingerprints). There is mild wear on the sides of the jacket and spine, but no tears or splits on the jacket. The cover is still in brilliant colors. The worst part of the jacket is a small area in the center of both front & back covers where someone had put some yellow masking tape (a very narrow, small strip). I'm not going to remove it in fear of doing further damage to the jacket.
Don't let this one slip through your hands. It still plays and sounds great! NO RESERVE!
