Description
This is the ultra-rare vintage first press of "Howling Wolf Sings the Blues" on Crown records, containing his early recordings for RPM and other tracks that are not on the Chess LPs. This first press has the color label - the later repress has the white label, according to discogs. The jacket would be classified as better than good - just the beginnings of seam splits and nice color, with no writing or tape. The LP is in fair condition - spindle wear and scratches throughout, but no skips on my turntable. Maybe a deep cleaning will help, maybe not. These companies were not using virgin vinyl in those days, so even a brand new record out of the sleeve back then would have surface noise. Sorry, no buyers in Texas allowed - any buyers purchasing with a Texas address will have their payment refunded. Check out my other auctions for more rare items.
