Up for bidding - a clean 1962 copy of Howlin' Wolf's Sings The Blues. Cover has him as "Howling Wolf", a good indication of Crown Record's total management inneptness. Crown's biggest disappointment has always been the lousy vinyl used in their production. Fortunately, this record still plays very well. There is a production bump in the 5th song on side 1, Twisting and Turning, but it plays through, sounds good! The record sounds pretty good. Overall, the cover is a sharp VG++ , wicked clean with only a few light scratch marks on the upper left front. Back is solid white with one small crease, J.R. had to pen his name on there for ownership/territorial purposes, and there is a 2" seam split on the bottom center. Very presentable. Record is VG+, which says a lot for a Crown. Overall, a wicked clean copy for this label. Shipping in the U.S. will be Media Mail w/ confirmation, $3.00. Canada - $7.00, Worldwide - $14.00.
