This sale is for a copy of "The Promise Of A Future" by Hugh Masekela. This is from 1968 (1st pressing) on Uni Records 73028. This is in beautiful condition with the cover still in the original factory shrinkwrap.......see photos. The songs are "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Madonna", "No Face No Name & No Number", "Almost Seedless", "Stop", "Grazing In The Grass", "Vuca (Wake Up)", "Bajabula Bonke (The Healing Song)" & "There Are Seeds To Sow".

Condition

  • Cover : The cover is in NM- condition with a tiny light rub on the corner tips & a rub on the upper edge where there is a split in the shrink but otherwise this looks new. The shrinkwrap is clean, tight & untorn. *****PLEASE NOTE***** In the photo, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.


  • Vinyl : The vinyl shines like new with all of its original gloss & is in NM condition on both sides & looks like it could be unplayed.

  • Labels : The labels are in NM condition on both sides.
