Description

original Jamaican reggae 12" 45 produced & arranged by Augustus Pablo: Hugh Mundell "Don't Stay Away Too Long" / Pablo All Stars "Stay Away Dub" (Yard Music records)

HUGH MUNDELL
DON'T STAY AWAY TOO LONG
PABLO ALL STARS
STAY AWAY DUB
original 1977 12" pressing

The youthful Augustus Pablo is pictured on both sides of this mandatory foot long fortyfive where Hugh Mundell debuted with "Don't Stay Away Too Long". Pablo produced and arranged this riveting rhythm and mix. The flipside's top flight dynamite dub operates under the scorched earth policy of wicked versions. Mighty melodica murderation from the master. Lightning in a bottle lyrics and vocals from Mr. Mundell, also a relative youngster at the time of these particularly awesome recordings, even by Hugh and Pablo standards. Awoah!

The ORIGINAL 12" Yard Music vinyl is in near mint condition. No skip, no warp, no scratch, no surface noise. No handwriting on either side (see photos). Numbered YD-008 77 A & B. Copyright 1977. See my other current auctions for more unusual reggae albums & singles this week on eBay.
