HUMBLE PIE Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore 1971 UK A&M 1st PRESS - NEAR MINT

HUMBLE PIE ‎
Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore

1971 UK A&M (AMLH 63506) DOUBLE LP FIRST ISSUE (December 1971)
RECORDED MAY 28th and 29th, 1971 AT THE FILLMORE EAST
Performance: Rockin' the Fillmore is one of the classic double-live albums of the 1970s
A two-LP set from a band earning a reputation as in-concert monsters, grinding out a living on a circuit that brought them from coast to coast in America.
It was, by design, the opposite of what Steve Marriott experienced as the leader of the Small Faces: this was heavy, improvised blues rock where live moments trumped the studio and it represents Humble Pie at their peak playing without a care in the world

LABELS: NEAR MINT
Clean, unmarked labels with just one spindle trace per side
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Both vinyl surfaces shine like-new with nothing but harmless wispy hairlines visible under bright light and a few equally harmless pressing blemishes on Record One all no doubt present from new as this copy is practically untouched
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Superb atmospheric live recording and ,y play-check at volume found practically nothing to fault.
No scratches, clicks, ticks or pops and just a little low-level surface on some of the quieter moments but I must stress I did not clean this copy as it looks so immaculate so this will no doubt disappear after a clean/few spins
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Being matt, black, untreated and carrying two solidly pressed records this sleeve is incredibly prone to wear but this one has held up remarkably well.
Apart from some light ring to the front and a little soft corner creasing it's crisp and sharp with little wear to speak of on either the edges or spine
