Description

Hal Hart and Dixie Darling12" metal acetate 78 Oklahoma (Take 3)
Recorded for 4 Star at Electrovox studio on June 13, 1949 Matrix numbers and on old sleeve (also faded writing on sleeve which I can’t make out) are 4* 3918
The playing grooves start 1/3 into the acetate and seem to be in Mint- condition. Surface is very cloudy from age and can use a good bufferning to get it’s shine back.
This must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse unplayed for over 70 years.
