Description

ORIGINAL PRESSING MARKERS - Prestige Records Inc., 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. yellow "fireworks" label - Deep groove confirmed on both sides - Matrix PRLP-7135-A and PRLP-7135-B, hand-etched RVG (Rudy Van Gelder) in the deadwax - Genuine mono first-press era Prestige, not a reissue
THE MUSIC Hal McKusick on alto sax, tenor sax, and clarinet, backed by Billy Byers on trombone, Eddie Costa on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, and Charlie Persip on drums. Six tracks including "The Settlers and the Indians," "I'm Glad There Is You," and "A Touch of Spring." Recorded and engineered by Van Gelder.
CONDITION Vinyl: VG+. Light hairlines and scattered surface marks visible under raking light, consistent with age, but play-tested by me and audio plays clean with no impact on listening enjoyment. Record has not been cleaned and would benefit from a wash before play - some surface dust/residue visible in photos.  Jacket: VG. Clean, well-kept copy with one dinged corner and a slight seam split along one edge. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Additional photos available on request.
SHIPPING Record removed from jacket before packing. Audiophile-grade inner sleeve plus existing outer sleeve. Whiplash heavyweight LP mailer. Insured to sale price. US shipping only.
