Hampton Hawes extraordinary recording for Contemporary, THE SERMON, of Negro and other spirituals in a jazz/blues idiom recorded in 1958 just before Hawes went down to prison. Record is in mint condition; sleeve is Excellent except for minor bumping to one corner.
